Powers

Each time I read the word "powers" in association with what is called the psychics, I envision a twelve-year old boy, Marvel comic in hand, playing Fantastic Four with his buddy.

I've always considered these "abilities" talents. We can all cook to some degree, but some of us are better than others, some get better by practice, others are born with a talent of it, and it all seems to just come natural. Well, we can all tell how someone is feeling, to some extent, some go to school, or study different methods to learn this better, some are born with a natural ability.

We can all tell the weather, just go to the window and look. Some go to school and study weather, some have just experienced so much of it that they subconsciously know what the weather will be, others are born with a natural ability for those as well. We have all heard stories about people who would look up in the sky and say, "Yup, big rain storm coming, be here on Friday." And they were right. We know that ancestors of ours migrated to survive, and we know that animals migrate with the seasons.

We are looking at abilities that we all share, but some have either developed these natural talents more than most, or were born with a natural advantage for those abilities.
